unique and fascinating, as you meet the passionate men and women who make
some of the world’s greatest wine.
My Chauffeur Wine Tours
supports great organizations
with our wine tour auction package. We offer a discounted auction gift certificate, only available to non-profit
schools and non-profit organizations (501 [c] [3]), and is described as follows:
The
non-profit school or
organization recipient or
auction committee may request a
complete discounted gift certificate package. Package would include the GC and
introductory letter to the gift certificate recipient, an informative
letter to the auction committee and an
auction display placard if requested, for
the auction. The Gift Certificate would include a private 6-hour
limousine wine tour of the North Willamette Valley or another wine country
destination for 6 or 12 persons at 50% off the full rate.
The standard discounted 6 or 12 person gift
certificate options/details are below. A custom gift certificate may be

6-hour
/6-person
tour (50% off)
– $412 w/lunch or $328 without lunches |
The base tour cost to the auction
committee for the 6 person GC would be 50% off of $582, or
$291. A catered picnic lunch, $14 each, may be added to this cost if
desired. Lunches are optional. Cost includes the chauffeur
gratuity and all tour charges. The cost for a Portland Metro Area
pickup/drop-off location is automatically added in addition to the tour
cost.
The total cost with lunches is therefore
$291 + $84 for 6 lunches (optional) + $37 Portland Metro P/U location =
$412.00 cost to the auction committee +
shipping/handling costs.
The total cost without lunches
is
$291 + $37 Portland Metro P/U location = $328.00 cost to the
auction committee +
shipping/handling costs.
Wine
Tasting Fees: To add the wine
tasting fees to your purchase, see below under 'OTHER'.
The total value of this tour is $703.00
with lunches or $619 without lunches. Additional pick-up location charges apply
outside the
Portland Metro Area, and the GC recipient would be responsible for this charge,
unless you choose to add this cost into your GC purchase.
To add a custom pick-up location valid anywhere outside the Portland
Metro Area, please contact us.
Additional persons: Additional
persons may be added on request at the same discounted rate either by the
auction committee or the GC recipient's.
Additional
persons above 6 up to 8 are $48 pp + $14 for lunches, paid prior to or on
the tour date. For 2 person tours, see
TERMS. Please inquire about costs for tour
group sizes other than mentioned above.

The base tour cost to the auction committee for the 12 person GC
would be
50% off of $1164, or $582. A catered picnic lunch, $14 each, may be
added to this cost if desired. Lunches are optional. Cost includes
the chauffeur gratuity and all tour charges. The cost for a Portland Metro Area
pickup/drop-off location is automatically added in addition to the tour
cost.
The total cost with lunches is therefore
$582 + $168 for 12 lunches (optional) + $48 Portland Metro P/U location =
$798.00 cost to the auction committee +
shipping/handling costs.
The total cost without lunches
is $582 + $48 Portland Metro P/U location = $630.00 cost to the
auction committee +
shipping/handling costs.
Wine
Tasting Fees: To add the wine

The total value of this tour is $1380.00
with lunches or $1212 without lunches. Additional pick-up location charges apply
outside the
Portland Metro Area, and the GC recipient would be responsible for this charge,
unless you choose to add this cost into your GC purchase.

Winery Tasting Fees:
Almost all the wineries charge wine
tasting fees, usually $10-$15 pp. GC cost does NOT include the
winery tasting fees, which the GC recipient would be responsible for unless you choose to add
these fees ($240 for 6 persons or $480 for the 12 person option) into your GC purchase. To have the winery tasting fees
included in your GC, add $240 (4 wineries X $10 per winery X 6 persons) for the
6 person GC option, or $480 (4 wineries X $10 per winery X 12 persons) for the
12 person option, specified either on the GC order form or at GC purchase with
the My Chauffeur phone representative. Tasting fees are non-refundable to
the auction committee nor the GC recipient. My Chauffeur Wine Tours will
choose wineries which will add up to $40 pp. If you choose to add the tasting
fees into the GC purchase, and the tour group chooses to customize their winery
choices; then the
tour group would be responsible for any wine tasting fees above $240 or $480.
Tasting fees below $240 or $480 will not be refunded to the auction
committee nor the tour group. You will have the option on the application form to add or not add the winery
tasting fees to the purchase cost of the GC. If you choose
to add these fees into the purchase cost of your gift certificate;
then we will
charge your credit card for the winery tasting fees. Please contact us if
you have any questions regarding this.
All-Inclusive tour - Your gift certificate includes the
driver/guide,
driver/guide gratuity,
complete planning/prep.,
exclusive wineries, door to door service within the Portland
metro area, and either our
14-passenger limo bus
for the up to 12 person tour or our
8-passenger stretch
limo for the up to 6 person tour.
GC is fully-refundable - The gift
certificate cost must be paid before the GC is issued to the auction committee.
The Gift Certificate is fully refundable to the auction committee if not
sold at the auction*SEE TERMS BELOW. Please contact us regarding GC payment, or with any questions
you may have. An
auction display placard is also offered with your GC, on
request.

* TERMS -
This GC is not refundable to non-auction events. The GC is fully
refundable to the auction committee; however, a $25 per gift certificate shipping/handling/processing fee applies
in the event the GC is not sold at auction and returned or if the Auction Committee cancels the order after it has been sent to the Auction Committee.
Refund requests by the auction committee must be made within 14 days from the
end of the auction date. The
GC is not refundable once it has been auctioned off at the auction event.
For a 2
person auction GC, a 15% discount off the 6-person GC cost would apply. Total cost to the auction committee
for a 2 person tour is therefore $279.00 (+ shipping/handling + $14 pp for lunches
+ $40 pp for wine tasting fees).

- 6 Hour Private Wine
Tour of the North Willamette Valley for 6 or 12 Persons -
My Chauffeur is a
small boutique wine tour company offering the highest level of
luxury service and quality in wine and culinary travel. As wine
educators, we try to make our programs educational while keeping the
atmosphere light and fun. Our primary goal is to make the world of
Oregon wine and cuisine accessible, understandable and enjoyable for our
guests, while providing a private, relaxing, luxurious, and authentic
experience of traveling in Oregon. And we mean REAL luxury. Only the
finest cuisine and the best estates we will visit if you wish. And a
roomy, deluxe, air conditioned limousine stocked with refreshments (not
a 9 passenger minibus for 8 guests and a driver - that's not our idea of
luxury or comfort). At all the estates we visit, you'll receive a warm
welcome and a personalized tasting. In some cases, you will tour the
technical facilities (vat room and aging cellars) in addition to your
tasting. Many times, we go out into the vineyard and the estate
representative will discuss vineyard management and harvesting.
Whenever possible, the tour is led by the cellarmaster, enologist, or
owner of the estate. Our guests often marvel at how unique each
estate visit is. At one estate, you might see an ancient wine
brotherhood display; at another, there will be beautiful gardens; at a
third, a special art exhibit. The tasting can be extensive and can
include barrel samples* of the latest vintage and/or bottles of recent
or older vintages. We sometimes taste in the aging cellar, sometimes in
the winery itself, and other times outdoors. The estate
representative will lead you through the tasting, helping you identify
aromas, tastes and overall quality. We will pick you up and drop you off
at your residence or hotel. We'll include 3-5 wineries in a
standard 6-hour tour, a lovely lunch if desired, and a
visit to a local sight of interest if you wish - your day will be
customized to include exactly what you want.

Additional persons may be able to be added at the same discounted rate.
This gift certificate purchase cost may be substituted for other My
Chauffeur services id desired. This certificate is transferable, but
may not be refunded, partially refunded or returned or exchanged for
cash, credit or reproduced. This gift certificate is valid for a
pick-up location anywhere within the Portland Metro area. A pickup
location outside of the Portland Metro area is INCLUDED or NOT
INCLUDED. Additional charges apply for pick-up locations outside of the
Portland Metro area. No block-out dates; tour date is subject to
availability. Major holidays require a 20% surcharge. GC may be used
toward the full purchase price on the Thanksgiving /Memorial Day
weekends. GC includes the chauffeur gratuity and all costs except
lunches (if NOT included) and winery tasting fees. Lunch is INCLUDED or
NOT INCLUDED in
this GC. Winery tasting fees are INCLUDED or NOT INCLUDED in
this GC. GC recipient is responsible for all extra charges on the
tour date, including winery tasting fees. The GC recipient’s
credit card info. is required at reservation confirmation
to secure your reservation.
