Aviation Museum and the Spruce Goose
airplane in combination with a
winery tour (8-hour tour recommended). The Evergreen
Aviation & Space Museum is best known as the home of the world’s largest
wooden airplane, the” Spruce Goose”. See also the Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird”, the Titan II SLV
Missile and the Grumman F6F-3 “Hellcat”. There are more than
80 historic aircraft and exhibits on display. Admission fees apply.
Guided Museum Tours - Take a
tour and meet the brave men and women who flew our historic planes. Because
many of our volunteer docents are veteran pilots, you may even hear a
first-hand story from the cockpit. Whether your tour is with an expert
volunteer or a veteran pilot, you’ll gain a unique insight into our
captivating air and space exhibits. In just over an hour, you’ll see all of
the museum highlights from the gargantuan Spruce Goose to the sleek SR-71
Docents provide guided tours daily at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Registration is not required for Docent Tours.
