About Us - "Why Take Us?"
'My
Chauffeur is Portland's private, luxury limousine tour company, and is
your
'comprehensive'
wine tour service offering principally wine tours and an array of
other tours and services.
We have been setting standards of excellence since 1998 with the intention
of providing a quality airport, limousine and tour service to the Portland
general public and the business sector. My Chauffeur continues its
legacy of great service, dedicated personnel and outstanding performance.
My Chauffeur is also
an
'eco-friendly' company offering
'green'
alternative fuel vehicles.
My Chauffeur is still
a small operation, it is very hands on, personally run, and highly experienced.

My Chauffeur offers private, luxury limo wine tour service which takes care of
our guests at every level from beginning to end. Whether you order the
full-service or the 'Recession Wine Tour', the service level is practically the
same. We also may offer superior service at a vastly smaller cost.

For Full Service, we offer our
chauffeur & limo, and also a:

Tour Concierge - taking care
of everything from beginning to end. Winery appts, winery facility tour
appts (if facility tour is requested), planning/preparations and all else is
taken care of. The concierge is always available to discuss your tour with you.

Lunch concierge - taking care of
lunches, ordering, set-up etc. from beginning to end. All you have to do
is take a look at the
menu's and tell us what you want. Restaurant's are also an option.

Tour Guide - a partial tour guide (default) is available or a fully guided
service may be available.

|
A comprehensive list of wineries.
We also give you additional information about the wineries and tour, available
automatically to view if desired. My Chauffeur monitors the wineries and offers
up-to-date information not easily accessible to the public. Additional
winery info includes such things as, but not limited to, which wineries:

Thanksgiving/Memorial Day weekends.

are tasting rooms only;
non-vineyard locations.

offer facility tours; and the best
facility tours.

My Chauffeur has had a "Safety Certified
Provider" program for all of our professional chauffeurs since 1999.
Chauffeured Transportation Certification is acquired through:

Pre-membership criminal background
check.

Pre-membership DMV check and ongoing
updates.
|

Our company prefers
to hire CDL (commercially) licensed drivers Currently, as of
01/15/2012,
approximately 50% of our chauffeurs are CDL licensed. What this means is professional
training for the chauffeur and extra safety for the passenger. In
addition, our company requires a minimum of about 2 years experience with the
same type of vehicle before hire.
