Tour Guiding
Options*
Guiding options include:

No tour
guide -
(default on
all tours) The chauffeur/guide is also the driver and therefore, for
safety reasons, will not be available to give narrative while driving.
Your chauffeur/guide will give winery introductions and general wine
country information when reaching the wineries, if requested before
or during your tour. This service should be requested because it
is not always obvious to your driver that the group is interested in a
guided service. He/she will also answer general questions/winery
questions & wine country questions either while driving or at any winery.
Your tour guide will not be a Sommelier and therefore is NOT an 'expert'
in wine or the wine country. He/she will however have a fair
amount of winery/wine country knowledge and will be able to discuss many
subjects and many, but not all wineries. To recap; your driver is NOT
allowed to give any narrative while driving other than answering
questions. If a tour guide is requested; this service is NOT guaranteed.

Partial tour guide (may be
requested on
all tours except the 'Recession Wine Tour') - On request, full service tours are done with a 'partial' tour
guide and is complimentary. The chauffeur/guide is
also the driver and therefore, for safety reasons, will not be available to give narrative
while driving. Your chauffeur/guide will give winery introductions
when reaching the wineries, on request. This service should
be requested because it is not always obvious to your driver that the
group is interested in a guided service. He/she will also answer general
questions/winery questions & wine country questions either while driving
or at any winery. Your tour guide will not be a Sommelier and
therefore is NOT an 'expert' in wine or the wine country.

Full tour guide** - This
service may not be requested prior to 24 hours before your tour. A 'continuous' narrative guide which will give
winery intro's, and
discuss the specific wine tour areas and topics. Your full tour
guide will not be a
Sommelier and therefore is NOT an 'expert' in wine or the wine country.
He/she will however have a fair amount of winery/wine country knowledge
and will be able to discuss many subjects. Specific/detailed
questions are best handled by the specific wineries tasting room staff. Available for tour bus and 14 passenger limo bus
only.
Additional costs apply ($100-$200 for 4-8 hours) for 9-14 passenger limo bus. Full tour
guide is not available for groups of 8 or less, unless the limo bus is
ordered.

Company does not agree to supply a guided service at any time, but will
endeavor to maintain the service level agreed upon.
