Domaine Serene Customer,
Before your evening BBQ and the fireworks after dark, how
are you planning to celebrate this 4th of July?
Anybody for an afternoon in wine country?
This
year, for the first time, Domaine Serene invites you to join
us in the tasting room for our Independence Day
Celebration. We’ll pour a flight of 5 delicious Domaine
Serene and Rockblock wines, paired with handmade bites by
Simpatica and
Oregon White Truffle Oil from the
Joel Palmer House.
Our
tasting room will be open from 11am to 3pm. If you
would like to bring a group of 8 or more, please email or
call me for an appointment. Cost for the event is $25 per
person. Current members of our Case Buyer Club receive
complimentary admission for themselves and up to 3 guests.

Cruise-In.
Have you spent countless
hours waxing, rebuilding, and maintaining your prized
vehicles? Then this is the perfect event to show off all
that hard work. Enjoy a summer day at our vineyard with fine
wine, hot cars, BBQ, and oldies music from J.T. and the
Tourists. Think your car is the hottest out there? Great
prizes will be awarded to cars in four categories: Best
Classic Car, Best Hot Rod, Hottest Paint Job, and Best in
Show.
$5 admission fee per person over 21 to the event includes
Riedel wine glass. Additional $5 entry fee per car for
contest. Admission is complimentary for Oregon Wine Guild
members. Awards will be announced at 4pm and you must be
present to win. Please No Outside Alcohol. For registration

Stomp Championship and Harvest Celebration.
Purple feet!! It's our 19th Annual Oregon Grape Stomping
competition-have you got what it takes to make it to the
World Competition? Make a reservation for a stomping time
for your team of two: one stomper and one swabber. Battle it
out together: the team who produces the most juice qualifies
for the World Grape Stomping Championship in Santa, Rosa,
CA! The team with the most creative costume will receive a
Private Tour and Tasting for 10 people, along with a wine
essentials package. Come celebrate with the WVV family as we
begin the 2009 harvest and enjoy fine wines from our Tasting
Room.
$5 adult admission includes a free Riedel wine glass and

Thanksgiving. More
than 100 wineries are open to the public from 11 AM to 5 PM
during this special weekend in the Wine Country. Many of
these wineries are not open at any other time during the
year. Festivities include tasting of new releases and older
vintages, barrel tastings, specialty foods and sales of
limited quantity wines. Some wineries have live music and
some charge a tasting fee. Winemakers and owners will
personally greet their guests. To receive a mailer that

Anniversary along with Oregon’s 150th! Join us once a
month for a special Reserve Tasting flight, highlighting
rare wines and/or library vintages. Each month’s tasting
will be different, and we welcome you to celebrate with us
as often as you’d like!
$30 for Reserve Tasting Flight (includes regular tasting
flight and Reserve wines.) $15 tasting flight will also
be available. There is no fee for Case Buyer Club members
and up to 5 guests.

International Pinot Noir
Celebration
This year marks this festival's 21st year. Held on the beautiful
campus of Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, the event is
limited to 600 people. The lunches and dinners are extraordinary
including the traditional northwest-style salmon bake. Besides
numerous seminars, there are two large walk-around tastings of Pinot
Noirs from all over the world. There are plenty of B&B type
accommodations and small hotels in the area, but many attendees choose
to stay on campus in the inexpensive students living quarters for
convenience (walking distance to all events). Held in late July. For
