Of course there
are dozens, even hundreds, of great wineries in our fertile
wine country valley. But the best for us this week
was Styring, for getting the 'raves reviews' from our
customers. and who, very attentively and enthusiastically
offered their guests complimentary tasting and delicious
snacks and great tasting wines! A close 2nd was
Trisaetum, who with their showcase winery displayed for
their guests a magnificent art gallery, tasty wines &
appetizers, barrel caves and a great time!. Way to go

Thanksgiving & Memorial Day Weekends
Visit wineries in the
Willamette Valley that are rarely open to the public.
 The
Yamhill County Wineries Association hosts two annual, county-wide events,
Thanksgiving and Memorial Day weekends!
This is one of the most fun weekends of
the year; the mood is happy and infectious. The wineries often bring
in their favorite bands for all 2-3 days for your listening pleasure.
Dozens of usually closed to the public wineries host open houses, and you’re
invited to swing by, taste superb wine and chat with local Willamette Valley
winemakers!
More than 150 wineries are
open to the public from 11AM to 5PM during these two special weekends in the
wine country. Many of these wineries are not open at any other time
during the year. Festivities include tasting of new releases and older
vintages, barrel tasting, specialty foods and sales of limited quantity
wines. Some wineries have live music and most charge a tasting fee.
Winemakers and owners often personally greet their guests.
