Harvest Time is around October and many wineries have special holiday tasting events from November to January.  There really isn't a bad time to visit 'the Valley', because wine tasting can be enjoyed indoors even on the rainiest afternoons.

Dobbes Family Estate is excited to present "Saturdays in the Cellar", a new series of fun and informal wine education classes. Learn about Oregon wine from one of the region's most respected winemaking teams!   Join Joe Dobbes and his talented staff for discussions on winemaking. The classes will be held at the Dobbes Family Estate winery from 3-5pm on the last Saturday of April - July; the series starts Saturday April 26. "BYOBB" Cellar Dinners - "Bring-your-own-best-bottle Wine Cellar Dinners" with Bistro Maison held the last Wednesday of each month.  Make your reservations with your “wine buddies” or meet new ones at your surprise table.
