At Anderson Family, we’re looking forward to our 27th leaf in the vineyard and 16 vintages as a commercial winery.
Here’s an update with some reasons to come see us regularly. Thanks again for your friendship and support. We hope to see you and your guests regularly at Anderson Family.
- A true hidden gem. Anyone can locate the big places. Even an autonomous vehicle could find the wine factories with the big marketing budgets. Bringing your visitors to the under the radar wineries is the value you add, your special, local insight. We don’t have blue signs on the road. There is no big sign at our gate. Anderson Family is a true insider’s discovery. Most folks won’t find us on their own.
- More time tasting, less time riding. We recently went deep sea fishing on a charter boat. The captain spent all day motoring from one spot to another, never staying long enough to catch much. Wine tours can be like that fishing trip. But, at Anderson Family we have plenty to do and see: vineyard tours, chatting with the winemakers/growers, visiting the barrel cave and sampling through at least six wines. As an added benefit, guests learn and enjoy tasting multiple vintages from the same vines…our unique specialty. Folks stay longer. Recently, tasters from The Allison Inn told us, “We’ve been visiting Oregon wineries for three days. You’re what we’ve been looking for the whole time.”
- Old school Oregon. Our visitors regularly worry that Oregon may become the next Napa Valley: an adult Disneyland with exorbitant fees, multiple tasting bars, crowded with dozens of tour buses and emphasizing merchandise sales. Anderson Family is not Napa. Since all our tastings are by appointment, we offer each guest special attention. And, there is never a tasting fee. Just a solid and steady focus on making and serving exceptional wines.
- Coming soon. All winter we’ve been working on making visiting easier. We’re significantly upgrading our technology and online presence. Soon, you’ll be able to make appointments with our on-line calendar – simple, quick and easy; no more emails and phone calls. Customers will be able to join our wine club, buy wine, update their bankcard and more on our website. We’re even getting rid of paper forms to help the sales process move faster and smoother. These changes will take some time, but they are coming.
Cheers and Best Wishes,
