In 1989, a passion, vision and commitment to produce the worlds best Pino Noir, leads the Evenstads to Oregon.
And in 2004, Domaine Serene shocks the world, by besting the most prestigious winery in the world, Domaine de la Romanee Conti, in a blind tasting of 3 wines, from each producer, in vintages 1998, 1999, and 2000. They place first, second and third with the 1998 and 1999 vintages, and first and second with the 2000 vintage.
In 2006, their debut release of the Coeur Blanc, vintage 2004, is introduced to sommeliers with rave reviews.
It's said it is the most unique white wine in the country.
In 2011, the 2008 'Grace Vineyard' Pino Noir receives 97 points by Wine Spectator, the highest rating ever awarded to an Oregon Pino Noir.
More recently, their 2014 Reserve Chardonnay, named World's #2 wine, by Wine Spectator, in 2016.
In 2017, they opened an Old World Marvel with 12 tasting rooms, modeled after their Burgundy 15th century estate, Chateau de la Cree.
Artisan Meat and cheese boards, and oysters, are available for purchase.
They offer Pino Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah.
Be sure to try the white Pino Noir, we totally, geeked out, over this wine.
The wine flight changes seasonally, and includes their featured single-vineyard Chardonnay, along with their flagship Pino Noirs.
Enjoy sweeping vineyard and valley views from their patio, or come in from the cold and sip your wine by the fire.
Their knowledgeable and friendly staff are here to answer your questions, share suggestions for a wonderful wine country vacation, and introduce you personally to the wines that make Domaine Serene special.

Recommendation: Reserve the “Prestige” tasting in the new (opened in 2017), expansive, luxury “clubhouse”. Your dedicated host will provide you a wealth of in-depth information, ours was a master at the geology of the vineyards.
If you are visiting on a Saturday, join them at 12:00 as our friendly Hospitality staff leads a behind-the-scenes look of the winery and barrel rooms. Learn more about our winemaking practices and the history of Domaine Serene. The walking tour takes about 20 minutes and is wheelchair accessible; no appointment is required. This group tour is included in the $25 tasting fee. We look forward to showing you our beautiful winery!"
