Here's how the SILVER tour works: We will choose wineries from our "No Appt." list. You may choose your own wineries (if desired), from our list, which will be available at tour booking. These wineries recommend, but do not require appointments, for small groups. We will go from winery to winery, at your pace. If a winery is not available because of seating or staff shortage, we will then go on to the next winery. So. you have to be ok with this, going from winery to winery, as needed.
GOLD TOUR (CONNOISSEUR) – UP TO 7 HOURS - UP TO 21+ PERSONS | APPT WINERIES | LIMITED SPECIAL REQUESTS ALLOWED | YOU MAY CHOOSE YOUR WINERIES, OR REGION | PRIVATE ONLY | 48 HOURS ADVANCE REQUIRED | WINE TASTING FEES TYPICALLY RUN ABOUT $90-$150 PER PERSON FOR THE DAY. - 21 PERSONS MAX. Please inquire about groups of 22+ PPL.
- Tour includes a pickup/drop off in the N. Willamette valley (Forest Grove to Salem), or Hood River OR. If your tour starts/ends outside of the N. Willamette valley or Hood River, the dead-head fee may increase, or be eliminated all together. Please inquire. The further we have to send your vehicle & driver, the larger the fee due to increased transportation and other costs. Your itinerary (when known), may also influence/ change the dead-head fee, if you have chosen the GOLD or DIAMOND option.
- Automatic 25% DRIVER/GUIDE GRATUITY applies. Your CDL driver works hard to ensure your trip is both safe and fun!
- $60-$120 gas surcharge applies.
- 5% cash discount applies.
- The hourly rate (Total daily rate divided by 7 hours) applies at 8 hours, for all tours.
- A deposit* of $100 (up to 4 ppl.-SILVER tours) -$200 (up to 10 ppl., or any GOLD tour with 1-4 ppl) -$300 (up to 21 ppl.) PER DAY is required to book. Additional deposits may be required depending on the wineries policies regarding deposits and pre-payments. If your prefer to pre-pay for the tour, please be aware, that overage time charges may apply if you go over the scheduled 7 hour tour time.
- Wine tasting fees, and meals, ARE ADDITIONAL COST.
- The 'Full-service' driver/guide supplies AI and personal narration, and we pre-plan your tour. We plan your tour and lunch, and make the winery appointments (typically is necessary for GOLD & DIAMOND tours only). You are ordering a full-service tour.
- Please inquire about our all-inclusive option, which will include the wine tasting fees and meals.
- Please inquire about a quote for our discounted 'Recession Wine Tour', which is our Vehicle & Driver only option. See below (Other Options).
- The 'Recession Tour' driver does not supply narration, and we DO NOT pre-plan your tour. YOU need to plan your tour and lunch, and make the appointments (typically is necessary). You are ordering a vehicle & driver ONLY.
- Please inquire about groups over 21 ppl.,
- Hood River Discount: For 1-6 ppl., we do not offer the GOLD option, and offer a 20% discount for 7-21 ppl...as well as the 20% "LAST-MINUTE" DISCOUNT for 1-6 PPL. GOLD & DIAMOND options are not available for Hood River.
- For Portland or Hood River area pickups, please inquire about 'TOUR COMBOS', which will include other tours (Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Mt Hood, Oregon Coast etc.) along with a wine tour, on a single or multi-day trip.
