Their winemaking philosophy is to make wines that assure expression of each vineyard. Their Bordeaux style wines are handcrafted utilizing old-world winemaking techniques representing the wine at its essence through the reflection of a place and character of a certain piece of ground. Each wine is 100% of the specific varietal and 100% sourced from a single vineyard. This is a key element of keeping the terroir quality in their fine wines.
This process is done by producing low yields; meticulous fruit selection, minimal handling of the ripened fruit and watchful aging in small oak barrels for each single vineyard wine. By creating this optimal environment for quality, concentration of flavor that reflects the terroir and assures the expression of the vineyard can be achieved.
Their goal is to remain a small winery producing robust wines where the structure and rich intensity are our strengths. They produce these results by allowing the vineyard characters to develop the complexity and concentration in the wines rather than modify flavors by winemaking intervention. They produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Meritage, Syrah, Voignier, Chardonnay & Pinot Noir.
