The Ribbon Ridge AVA is located within the larger Chehalem Mountains AVA. 'If we visit a tasting room a couple of times and haven't met the owner or the winemaker yet, we're not likely to include it here'. 'Genuine', smaller, family-owned wineries & multi-generational farmers.  They're often the farmer, the winemaker and the sole tasting room employee.
