Joe Dobbes is the owner and winemaker for his two brands; Dobbes Family Estate and Wine By Joe.
The Dobbes Family Estate brand is a luxury label dedicated to the best of the Willamette Valley; offering Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris and to the best of the Rogue Valley; offering French-style Syrah, Grenache Blanc and Viognier. This label bottles 6 different and superlative Pinot Noirs priced from $24 to $65/bottle including cuvee's and 4 single vineyard wines expressing each vineyards unique terroir. As well they offer three different Syrahs including two single vineyard offerings.
Their Wine By Joe brand is a value-priced Willamette Valley AVA label focused on the three Pinot's and chardonnay. High quality and exceptional wines vinified spot on for each varietal and marketed in a whimsical manner.
Theirs was the first custom winemaking facility to be certified sustainable. They are currently acquiring LIVE,certification in both their vineyard and winery which is a huge contribution to their Green Project.
