WINTER’S HILL -- The warm red slopes of their vineyard nourish deep-rooted vines, planted in 1990 and managed for low, intensely flavored yields. Their own roots in this soil stretch from 1961, when John and Lena Winter resettled from Illinois.
They offer the 3 Pinots ranging from $22 to $65. Russell, his mother Emily and wife Delphine (winemaker), the Gladhart family, are your hosts. From the start of the growing season to the final production of the wines, it's their family's work, pride, and joy.
Their entire vineyard is certified by LIVE of Oregon (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) as Sustainable and Salmon Safe.
The winery is surrounded by a natural landscape of fields and forest. By using Native species to landscape, they provide additional habitat for wildlife and insects. After your tasting, you are welcome to enjoy a picnic or take a walk through our restored Oak Savannah. As an official stop on the Willamette Valley Birding Trail, they offer outstanding opportunities to view birds and other wildlife.
The $15 tasting fee is refunded with 2 bottle purchase, 2 tasting fees waived with 3 bottle purchase. We should be leaving here by about _____________ to be on time for our next appt. Remember to take care of your tasting fee and/or wine purchase by this time.

LG. GROUPS
They can accommodate groups up to about 50. They do ask that the tasting fees for that large of group be paid as one since we only have one cash register and it cuts down on time. We do have a large driveway for buses to turn around in.
Our tastings are $10 (5-6 wines) and we waive 1 tasting per $50 spent on wine. We offer a 10% case discount as well for anyone who purchases a case. We don't offer any specific tour group discounts. If you have any other questions please ask."
